Work

1 Corinthians 12:6 There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.

Today was opening day at the new Which Wich just inside the TwinsburgFitness Center. It was a busy, exciting day. At Which Wich they have Vibes:

At our Which Wich the Vibe is the Cleveland Skyline, A paint palate and a microphone. Those represent the Palko family. Each employee gets to pick a Vibe that represents them. Fun. Interesting. Hobbies. Passion.

I made my name tag the other night and need to identify my Vibe. Hmmm? What represents me?

Yup! That little guy is it! Has been for at least 25 years maybe a few more.

The Fish, Cross and Crown are tattooed on my ankle, I have a small fish on my hand, and they are my business logo as well.

I asked my friend for a verse to write on today, and “…use this one, in honor of opening day.” 1Corinthians 12:6 talks of different kinds of working. The work can be physical, emotionally, or mental. Today, all of the previously mentioned.

“…but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.” Inside each of us is God, and He works in and thru us. Today He used my “Vibe”. I was asked, “what is your Vibe?” I shared my fish, and why it is my Vibe. It sounded something like this…
“The fish is my Vibe, it reminds me of Jesus and how His has made us fishers of men. That is to share His love, and, life with others.”

They stood and listened. I just shared Jesus at work. Very cool. In regards to the cross and crown. It goes like this:
Fish = called to be fishers of men.
Cross- Jesus took our sins on Himself so that we can walk as forgiven children, redeemed by, His blood.
Crown- He is King of all and rules forever I his kingdom.

I think that’s a pretty good vibe. And a great way to start conversation. The work I do,I must do for Him. For He is in all things, and in all ways in you and me. Amen
