Sacrifice…comes in many forms. Sleepless nights, dreams unfulfilled, loves lost, death.

The ultimate sacrifice we remember today, that of an innocent man, who took upon himself all sin we have done and all we will every do.

He watched as nails pierced his hands, he wrenched as they slid the cross, to which he had been nailed, upright. The weight of his body, the weight of our sins held in place by hands and feet that traveled so many roads, touched so many lives, healed so many souls and loved so many, like none other.

Jesus…died for so many who have been, who are and who will be. That sacrifice gives hope, gives salvation, gives life to those who believe. Jesus, forgiveness, redemption, grace and life. Amen
