There are times when it seems all we thought to be solid and set starts to slip from our grasp. We begin to claw and scratch to just grab hold, to keep from falling, to get a grip.

For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I am the one who helps you.” Isaiah 41:13
We find ourselves alone in a situation that is insurmountable. We look side to side and all around, there is no way out, no way up, there seems to be no way.
The path ahead is treacherous. We see the devastation, the splintered fragments of what seemed to be a clear and direct way from here to there. Is this a plot to derail us or a plan to protect? We look to the situation when we should look to the One who knows every step we take. He knows the path laid out for us.

The path we take will not always be easy. We will trip and fall, we will get lost, it will be dark and confusing. It is in those trying times that we need to remember it is making us that much stronger. We need to remember to get back up, to trudge on, to reach for His mighty right hand to guide us.

My soul clings to you; your right hand upholds me.
Psalm 63:8
When we cling to him, when we seek Him, we can begin to see the path before us. The twists and turns become easier to traverse with Him by our side. Walking with Him we hear His voice, we follow where He leads.

Alone, it is daunting. Alone, it is insurmountable. Alone, we can do nothing. In Him we are never alone. In Him we can do all things. In Him we are free. By grace, thru faith and not of ourselves. Hold tight to Him.
You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
Psalm 16:11
