The thing about developing film…You have to do it in the dark. In high school I took a photography class and come to find out we had to process our own film, in the dark. I am not fond of the dark, especially not then.

There have been many a dark moment, or week in our lives. Each of us can attest to that with stories, explanation even tears. In the darkness we can lose our way, become disoriented and feel oh so overwhelmed. I can say I have been there, we all have. We can take the above quote to heart, out of the negative and the dark comes a beautiful picture.It may not seem all that beautiful now, but to God it is a work of art.

It is while in those dark and negative times that we truly turn to God. We lean on Him, call out to Him, and we finally listen to Him. He strengthens us in those times. He paints in our lives patience, strength, love, trust, devotion and persistence. Those are only a few of the colors that make up who we are and all He has done for us so far.

A beautiful picture…that you are in the eyes of Christ and in the hearts of those who love you. Thanking God for developing us each day, in some way to glorify Him.
